Super 8 by Wyndham Macleod Trail Calgary

Great location, close to everything and many places are walkable. For one of the most cost effective hotels in the city, I was pleasantly surprised. The pool was drained for maintenance but they kept the hot tub open for us. 100% would stay here again. The free breakfast was also quite good. The coffee could improve a bit though :)

Rooms had lots of seating, comfortable bed, and was super clean. Yes, it showed a little wear and tear but for the price, a great deal. Location was excellent and staff very helpful. Walls were a bit thin and the birthday party next door after midnight was a bit loud. Would stay again if looking for convenient, cheap and cheerful enough.

5/5 Excellent I had a great stay! In the past, I stayed in the 2-queen kitchenette rooms, but those face the parking lot and can be noisy with people talking and smoking outside. This time, I asked for a room in the main building to avoid the noise. The receptionist was very accommodating and gave me a 1-king kitchenette room inside the main building. It was quiet, clean, and perfect for two people. High praise for the staff being so helpful!

Place is clean. Super friendly staff. Accessible to everything especially on the winter time where you don't want to go dri e far if you need anything. Free breakfast was good and great choices for the price of yojr stay. My kids enjoy the pool while me and my husband enjoyed the gym and the hot tub. We also like the location of the gym because we can watch our kids (my daughter is a young adult and my youngest has a floater)swimming while working out. Happy with the experience during family day

Great value for price point! Hotel room was clean with pretty photos above the bed. Staff friendly. Bathroom quite nice. Great full length mirror. A few paint chips missing but nothing major. Pool area was prettier than many we’ve been to. has pretty tiles, nice chairs. and great big hot tub. The jets could have been more powerful. The workout room was really nice and modern. The breakfast room on the upper level felt fancy and was tasty. Great job!! Easy to get out of town to Banff

Great bang for your dollar. The room was clean. Although I had to move from the outside rooms (room 130+) it was very cold for winter morning with snow. The hotel was very accommodating and moved me and my daughter into a new room within the main building. Which was better access to the pool without having to go outside to get to our room. The pool war very warm and the hot tub was great as well. The hotel can get loud but that's expected at busy city hotels. The breakfast was a great selection for the price. They had an awesome waffle station. Juice machine. All and all I would stay again. It's a great family stay for a budget.

Excellent hotel, for a quick or longer stay. Very cozy and clean room. Very good pool and gym so you don't miss your fitness day. And a great, reasonably priced breakfast to start the day. The only problem is that they start using the vacuum cleaner in the rooms at 8:30 am; I think it should be after 10 am. Besides being affordable. Very satisfied.

We came with low expectations. But this was a solid spot if you are in the city for a few nights.Anna at front desk was very friendly & helpfull. Free parking, Complimentary breakfast is a blessing, pool is great, hot tub doesn’t have the jets working properly, the carpets in hallway on second floor were really grubby, the stairwell was getting repaired during our stay which was an inconvenience but overall we were really happy.
